Aero Commander 500 - FG speed
This is my favorite aircraft for GA flightnights but I always struggle to keep up at the typical 130 knots etc.
I have tried engine controls (mixture/propellor etc) to no effect.
It says 150 @ 9000'in in the set file
Performance

- Cruise speed: 203 mph (326 km/h, 176 kn) at 9,000 ft (2,750 m), 75% power, TAS
- Stall speed: 68 mph (109 km/h, 59 kn) flaps and landing gear down, CAS
- Minimum control speed: 75 mph (121 km/h, 65 kn)
- Range: 1,078 mi (1,735 km, 936 nmi)
- Service ceiling: 19,400 ft (5,913 m)
- Rate of climb: 1,340 ft/min (6.8 m/s)

Hello mate. That's rather odd.
Can you get me a screenshot of the cockpit at say 5,000ft and full throttle after 2 mins? Not sure what I'll be able to see but there might be something
Been increasing the cruise-speed="300" makes no different.
Climbing reduces the speed to about 70knots
Set the cruise speed to 196 knt in the yasim.xml...that should helps, Oly
If it is your fav GA Aircraft you have to try my sound paket.

Yes I have already tried changing the cruise speed in the set file and it did not change the the upper speed range much.
Sorry I have already tried 300 knots in the yasim.xml which did not allow for higher speed.

Hmm that's weird...it works for me....try my yasim.xml file...and let me know if speed is growing up.
Works for me too, noticeable increase in airspeed/climb rate. With your sound files it's a far better aircraft, thank you.

Maybe I had changed a bit more in the yasim.xml...can't remember...it's too far ago.
