FML
Hello to all,
Not managed to surface here for a while. Have made zero progress since last visit. MIL continues to bounce from one heinous malady to the next, quite tiring. Also, did I mention stubborn? We're dealing with a nonagenarian toddler, excepting the poo is bigger and far more malodoruous.
Further, now my own body is deciding to break down on its own, without any help from me. 2 weeks hence I shall undergo a 3 vertebra spinal fusion. Fun. Only looking forward to it in order to dump this past year of pain behind me. This also is the auspicious month where I first went to the ER as I broke myself sleeping. Yes, it's gotten that bad. SLEEPING, FFS.
Unsurprisingly, expect no paints until I'm somewhere out on the far side of surgery with a number of PT appointments under the belt.
Asked before, and asking again, is it any wonder why I drink? It's my only solace these days... Don't say what about family? They're ANOTHER reason I drink! lol
Miss youse dudes, even the ugly ones... ;D

I remember "pulling the plug" during a flight night because of the pain, was diagnosed acute at 39, now 63. Although no longer acute thanks to meds & physio, I wish now I had half your courage to receive surgery. We have never flown together, yet I look forward to do so. in the future.
Malodourous toddlers are renowned for growing up to be something you and partner will one day say "WTF we made something good!"
Drink? Think we all been there at some point in our lives, for one reason or another m8, Its a false friend!

Hi Gary,
some years ago I lost my mother in law and I say that was a good thing because at the end that was not really a live anymore for her. Enjoy the time with your mother in law so long she is there.
An old friend from Berlin he broke his spine while racing motocross and had to undergo surgery. He had screws in his spine that were sticking out of his back, which sounds terrible. But everything went very well with physical therapy, and he has no more problems. And today he is still a racing man... lol.
We don't have contact anymore, because he makes his way and I make my way but I found him in the Internet...tata.
