FlightNight Nov. 15th - Fast Jet Scurry. Down and Dirty, US West!
We'll meet at 8 pm London Time at ICAO: KELP - El Paso International in El Paso Texas. Please bring the fast jet of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can perform at 430 KIAS for an hour between approx. 12K' and 550' AGL. We'll be running the Thunderstorm Weather Scenario so, things will be scary, dark and rain/wind at times and the vast majority of time we will be flying at 550' AGL so choose accordingly.
From POO, we will depart directly to/overfly KWSD, KTCS, KABQ,KAEG, KSAF, KSKK, and land at KALS: San Luis Valley Regional Bergman Field as our midpoint refresh/refuel point. After refresh and refuel, we will depart directly to and overfly KANK, KASE, KEGE, KHDN, KRKS, EMUNE, and land at KEVW as our final destination. Landing time will be at Dusk and the runway lights should be on but in the weather and gathering darkness, you may need to use all instrumentation at your disposal to stay with the flight and land safely.
Fast, low, bad weather, and darkness. So practice accordingly and we look forward to seeing all ya'll.
I have been using MP Server 08 during test flights and planning and I appear over the MP08 map so we should be able to use that on Saturday and see each other and be seen on the MP Map.

Open the weather menu and then click detailed weather and choose thunderstorm, Actor my bro.

550 AGL? High altitude night then, given weather conditions, lets reflect, pause and consider the stress and environmental impact upon them poor wee fluffy bunnies! And fly lower so we can hug them ??
