FlightNight June 11th - GA Flyby of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier!
We'll meet at 8 pm London Time at ICAO - KPDX - Portland International Airport. Please bring the aircraft of your choice (fixed or rotary wing) from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS at altitudes up to 12K' for an hours duration. From Portland we will depart Northish and fly by Mount Saint Helens and Mount Ranier for a lookie see before landing at KSEA - Seattle International for our midpoint refresh and refuel.
After refresh we will depart to the East and fly directly to KEAT - Pangborn Memorial Airport in Douglas County Washington as our final destination.

Rainier is always awesome to behold and the trip between Seattle and Pangborn is littered with significant terrain and mountains. So buckle up and join me, will you please? Thanks in Davance!

Man....the Mountains East of Seattle look awesome as do all the metropolitan areas. Good stuff!

Also be aware that out final airport, KEAT, has some weirdness going on mid runway. Land early/short if you can and avoid potentially getting stuck on the Runway.
