FlightNight July 30 - Montana, Big Sky Country Cruise!
We'll meet at the hour of 8 PM London Time at ICAO: 8S0 - Starr-Browning Airstrip in Browning, Montana. Please bring an aircraft of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS for an hours duration at altitudes up to 10K' - Fixed wing or Rotary is fine.
We'll depart and overfly KGPI and land at ICAO: BU7 - Benchmark General Airport in Benchmark Montana as our midpoint refresh and refuel spot. After refresh we will depart to and overfly KMSO, 32S, and land at ICAO: 6S5 - Ravalli County Airport as our final destination. Final Airport is a Hot Mess so check it out before hand.
Lots of significant terrain and lakes, mountains, hills, and rivers. Towns? Not so much....
