FlightNight - September 3rd -Stuart is off eating Oysters

It's early September and Stuart is going to miss the first Flight Night I've been able to attend in months so let's make him jealous by holding it in his back yard.

This weekend is the "World Famous" Stranraer Oyster Festival and come Saturday evening the attendees have not only eaten all the local oysters but are busy annoying Stuart with their loud revelling while he's trying to run a nice quiet campsite.

The organisers need to keep things going and the Oyster lovers are wanting more so the kind people on the Isle of Gigha, just up the coast, are providing more Scottish Oysters for people to slide down their throats.

We start our evening at Tiree in our Aero Commander 500's and for the first half of the evening fly down to the windy isle of Colonsay (tee hee...colon) where we will do some landing challenges in slowly increasing crosswinds.

Depending on attendees and timings we may fly to Campbeltown before the second half and have our break there, or make it our first stop of the second half to pick up the "delicious" slimy little pearl forming delicacies and fly them down to be collected at West Freugh, as a little snippet of trivia "Freugh" is actually the noise any normal person would make while spitting out an oyster after trying to eat it.

See you there, 8pm sharp!

Tiree - EGPU

Colonsay - EGEY

Campbeltown - Isle of Gigha - EGEC

West Freugh - EGOY
