This FlightNight you'd better hope you like the view from up high because....well these things aren't the fastest but wow the view is amazing.
On Thursday I'll be releasing an updated version of the Edgeley Optica which Gary Neely has kindly sent us the source files for. We're going to be leaving EGMD at 2000 UK time and patrolling the coast for some dinghy enthusiasts who have got into a spot of bother.
After saving the day and leading the RNLI and RN to the area we are going to continue and head over the channel for a mug of tea in Bruges at our half time stop (EBOS)
Once we've done that it'll need to be hammer down to EHVK which is nearly 100nm away in time for the evening to draw to a close. VNe in this model is about 110kts so we'd best time it right or we'll be dead/late or any combination of the two.
If someone has time to grab the Orthos for the area then a nice high res set would be lovely.

FGUK has permission to take over the optica so It will get the full treatment in due course. It needs quite a few things modernised for current flight gear versions.
