FlightNight Jan. 28th - Scenic Tour of The Andes in Peru!

We'll meet at 8 pm London time at ICAO: SPRU - Carlos Martínez de Pinillos International Airport in Trujillo, Peru. Please bring the aircraft of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS @ 18,000' for an hours duration and climb at 600' per minute while maintaining airspeed to 18K'. Ideally we are looking at GA aircraft/light Twins but if you can find and would prefer a 'Chopper in this role it's fine.

Originally I wanted to do this in Fast Jets but in my version of FGFS few of them will start anymore so we'll have to compromise a bit.

This will not be a "point to point" tour - while our midpoint destination is SPHZ we will actually depart our airport of origin and proceed due East climbing continuously to 18K' while making numerous course corrections to avoid mountains and peaks (somewhere near 1300 of these in Peru) until we arrive on course at altitude. We will observe some pretty cool stuff on the way.

After refresh and refuel at SPHZ we will once again depart Southish and fly a varied course to observe even more significant terrain to SPVI - Vicco Airport located in Vicco, Pasco Region, Peru, as our final destination.

Oly - these are all potential and significant Waypoints for OrthoPhoto gathering - SPRU, SPEO, SKTU, SPEQ, SPHL, SPPG, and SPVI.

Lots of cool stuff to see if ya'll can make it.
