FlightNight - Feb 4th 2023 - Coastal Calamity
Time to rally the troops, something is afoot!
This FlightNight is going to be a bit of an adventure based on the incident involving the Nave Andromeda back in 2020 https://edition.cnn.com/2020/10/25/uk/isle-of-wight-tanker-nave-andromeda-intl/index.html
We'll start the night with CH47 variants, Merlin's and Lynx helicopters leaving RAF Odiham (EGVO) and flying down to the coast at Poole to pick up some "special advisors"
We will do a quick recce before heading down to EGHI to have our half time break. After that we'll spend our time ferrying people between the hospitals locally and also the nearby Naval Base.
It'll be a fun night and not entirely true to the incident but hopefully a bit of a different scenario.
Custom scenery coming later in the week. See you there 8pm UK time, all comms to be on Teamspeak as usual.
Please only bring CH47 / Merlin or Lynx variants on the evening.

I've got some custom scenery and objects, just collating it all together and will get it released Friday but it's quite a comprehensive one that'll hopefully add quite a bit to the night.
Strongly recommend the orthos for this one too!

If you'd like to do a OSM grab it'd be a good idea.
Starting at Odiham go down to Bournemouth then Lee on Solent and finally Sandown airports.
I've been having issues with framerates around Bournemouth area so well worth doing a grab in advance.

Is this 'just' a scenery jobby, like Oly's ? I.E just point the ADD-ONS to it ?
I always thought scenario packs always used to have be an addition to the AI folder.
Its just Scenery, no AI in it, so just make its folder a custom scenery folder in FG and its job done.
That's what I thought, just putting it out there to be informative to others.

I have put together some photoscenery for the flight for 2020.4 users who do not have the full England PS installed.
This set icludes more detailed Portsmouth and IoW area than standard PS normally collected.
PS I have included some static objects in Portsmouth Harbour.
