FlightNight May 6th - Chopper visit to Gavarnie Cascade and then East thru the Pyrenees !
We'll meet at 8 pm London Time at ICAO: LFBP - Pau Pyrénées Airport in France. Please bring the Chopper of you choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS up to 10K' for an hours duration. From Point of Origin we will depart Eastish and overfly LFBT and then turning roughly 200 degrees to find and observe the Gavarnie Cascade - a rather large and impressive waterfall that is animated in FlightGear.
After fooling about the waterfall we will continue on to our midpoint refresh/refuel destination of LENA - Benabarre Airport in Spain. We will then continue on to overfly LESU, LECD, and land at LFMK: Carcassonne Salvaza Airport back in France as our final destination.
The Cascade is roughly South of Lourdes (LFBT) and roughly 25 - 30 miles from LFBT.
