FlightNight June 3rd - Chopper Tour of Argentina and Chile.
We'll meet at 8 PM London Time at ICAO: SAMM - Comodoro D. Ricardo Salomon Airport In Argentina. Please bring the chopper of your choice from the FGUK hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS at altitudes up to 15000' for an hours duration.
From point of origin we will cross the mountains and fly directly to ICAO: SCRG - De la Independencia Aerodrome in Chile where we will land as this will be our midpoint refresh and refuel point. After refresh and refuel we will depart and overfly SCBQ, SCTB, SCLC, SCEL, and land at ICAO: SCAN - San Rafael Airport in Chile as our final destination.
Lots of metropolitan areas framed by significant terrain on this trip. I'm hoping the Ortho Scenery yields the glaciers we'll be flying over as there are a plethora of them. Cool stuff to see!
