FlightNight 10 June 2023, Mach and Fries

What's up you FGUKers?

This week for FlightNight we are going to be playing down and dirty in some valleys. Our mission is to conduct an inspection of the wind farms around the valleys of Wales to make sure that they haven't been knocked down from erosion caused by greater crested newts sunbathing on the bottom of the platforms.

We will start from Aberporth (EGFA) airport in South West Wales before taking in the lovely scenery. (IF anyone can get any better orthos please let me know, lots of the land marks originally planned aren't visible)

After a good hour of searching around we will head to EGOD to have our half time break and give the place a dusting over.

We will head up north through the lakes, pennines and into Scotland to Millfield (Borders gliding club) to finish off the night.

[UPDATED 07/06/23]

The aircraft choice for the evening will be the Supermarine Swift - if I can get an updated version out by EOD Friday I will.

Meeting will be 2000 UK time at EGFA, comms on Teamspeak.
