FlightNight Feb. 3 - Helicopter Sightseeing Tour of Istanbul!
We'll meet at the hour of 8 pm London time at ICAO: LTBA - Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, Turkey. Please bring the helicopter of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can cruise at 100 KIAS and about 1000'. The first half of the flight will consist of flying the Strait of Bosporus which connects to the Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara, then East along the coast to land at LFTJ - Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport as our midpoint refresh/refuel point.
After refresh, we will depart directly to and overfly LTBX and then head West, across the Bosporus, roughly following the O-1, O-3, and E80 roadways to Mimaroba Ataturk Park and then turn around and head back to land at LTBA - Ataturk International Airport as our final destination.
