FlightNight April 30th - Warbird "Fox and Hound" Chase in Nevada!

We'll meet at 8 pm London Time at ICAO: KXTA - Homey Airport (Area 51) in Nevada. Please bring a Warbird of your choice from the FGUK Hangars. Any one you choose and fly well will be fine. Speeds during chase sequences will be capped at 290 KIAS - pick something agile. Again, any one you like should be fine.

From Start Point we will depart to the South East and in roughly 8 minutes we'll meet the Desert National Wildlife Range - a rugged and colorful bunch of rocks, canyons, and valleys. The idea is to play chase and keep with Flight Leader up and down/in and out. After a sufficient amount of Play Time we will depart South and land at ICAO: KLSV - Nellis AFB, to sooth our nerves and refuel refresh.

After refuel/refresh we will depart South to Las Vegas and turn West to The Red Rock Canyon National Park to again play Fox and Hound in some very deep and often blind canyons with a twist - at various time we will pick another Flight Leader to be The Fox. If you'd like to play Fox you'll need an aircraft that can produce smoke over MP. After a merry chase of the new Fox we'll pick another one. Finally, we'll land at ICAO: KVGT - North Las Vegas Airport as our final destination.

Comms on TeamSpeak as Always.

Some very challenging and beautiful terrain awaits to practice a bit, brab yer Scenery, and I'll see you Saturday evening!
