FlightNight April Fools Day - Chopper Tour of Northern Madagascar!
We'll meet at 8ppm London Time at ICAO: FMNC - Mananara Nord Airport on Madagascar. Please bring the Helicopter of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS at altitudes up to 9000' for an hours duration. We'll depart point of origin and go North following the coast to FMNR which we will overfly and then continue on the land at FMNH - Antsirabato Airport as our midpoint refresh and refuel destination.
After refresh we will overfly FMND and head directly over significant terrain to FMNZ - Ampampamena airport - as our final destination. Unless it's completely beastly weather we'll use my newfound love of Real Weather in FGFS as I think it really helps on FlightNight Adventures to keep the group together and in experiencing identical weather such as winds aloft etc.
Lots of cool stuff to see on Madagascar so I hope to see as many as possible!
