This week we shall be testing your carrier landing and take off skills with the USS Nimitz,

You are going to be invited to come and fly from the Nimitz while our intrepid Sailor, Stuart, takes the helm and sails it around the isle of Formentera and Ibiza.
We'll start at LEIB and you can bring any aircraft you like from the FGUK Hangar, if it's going to be something odd then try give us a heads up so there's not loads of Blue and Yellow gliders.
If you want to bring something NON FGUK then you must post a link to it up here no later than Friday evening - the now standard penalty being 1 x Large McChicken sandwich meal with Fanta to be paid to me on any attempted involvement (I'm not joking)

10pm Riga (EEST)
1pm Boise, Idaho
12 Noon - Vancouver

Im not a sailor, I just " Borrowed" the Nimitz. I had permission and everything.................................

The folder "MPCarrier" needs to go in your data/Aircraft folder.

Be warned, the buildings can take a while to load at first.
Testing is revealing some issues with carriers in FG at the moment. We might need to revise plans. Watch this space!
Basically, MP carriers are fucked. Thats the issue.
Extensive testing has revealed its fucked in such a spectacular way its completely pointless unless you are going on a solo cruise.
It would appear that at some point a new method of "Latching" to an MP carrier was introduced into the core of FG without anyone ever bothering to test it actually worked.
