I have no idea how to do AI Air Traffic. Its not something we at FGUK ever use/need.
What kind of AI traffic are you looking to make?
It's actually one of the (thankfully) simpler areas of FG configuration so you shouldn't have too much issue.

ok, i am looking to make the air southwest fleet of dash 8 300s
Just a wee thought, whilst looking through the FG aircraft browser (within the launcher) I have seen a ATC with radar download, until such time as AI becomes available to you, why not take turns within your flight to assume a ATC role? Start off on your flight night from your airport of choice. ATC could move their location according to pre posted flight plans.
So does the model already exist? I think there's dash-8's in FG ok.
I think the first bit in that wiki article I posted should give you enough to get on with, all you need is the schedule and it's half done
well, i actually use an addon for flight gear called ATC-Pie, it has a teacher/student mode, and the teacher mode allows me to spawn aircraft of various types. so thats why i was asking for AI Traffic.
so now i know there's dash 8s, one aircraft i would like to see, is the scottish aviation bulldog!
