Help with File-Input devices

Hi, I am new to the forum and forums in general, basically don't know what I'm doing.

I used a previous version of Flightgear which I had managed to use simply with my Thrustmaster T.16000M, TWCS Throttle with foot pedals. I had found and used the "Input Devices" page to set up the throttle and pedals. I have now up dated Flightgear to version 2024.1.7, and although the scenery is very nice I have lost the use of "Input Devices" so cannot use the pedals. Is there any way I can fix this problem? I am no computer person, I can just about switch it on.

Also I have found it very difficult to follow the manual. Has anyone done a simple step by step manual for Dummies?
