Its a complete pain in the arse and I havent quite got the Sure way of doing it yet. The Issues comes when you need to remove OSM buildings that are being replace with actual ones you generate.
The Buildings are generated from Google maps + Blender. Its not an accurate generation, you will also end up with scenery ether side of the one you want. I usually edit the model again in blender to remove the bits of the generated model thats not needed.
Theres a video tutorial on how to grab the model from blender. Top tip, only use the software versions listed in the video.

Downside is this can only be used for private scenery due to Google licencing.
