FlightNight 17th December 2022 - A gentle tour
Hi All,
Apologies for the delay in posting this. I'm actually doing so not having a working copy of FG available. It worked last week when testing the ILS in the T5 for Scott but now just fails on trying to load so that's a challenge to fix in the next 44hrs.
Anyway flight night this week will start at Goodwood Aerodrome (EGHR) in the South of England. We will then take a tour East around the areas and aerodromes that first started as WWII fighter bases, in the Battle of Britain and beyond.
Bring a twin engine prop aircraft of your choice. We'll be pootling around between 90-120kts. - please post the choice below before 0900 on Saturday so everyone has chance to get it.
Half time break will be at Biggin Hill (EGKB) and we'll end the night at Middle Wallop after a slight detour to the North then East and West via Duxford and Bicester.
The Ortho scenery is highly recommended, especially now it's running on the RC's for the next stable version of FG.
We'll meet at 8pm London time at EGHR for the fun and festivities to begin.
Now back to fixing my FG and I'll see you there.

Hoping to make it in the FGUK Aero Commander.
What is "The Ortho scenery is highly recommended, especially now it's running on the RC's for the next stable version of FG."???
Do the Orthos run on FG 2020.3.17?
Hi Oswald,
Orthos now run on 2020.3.18 - the latest RC's came out in the last few weeks I think, although they aren't well publicised and I can't find them to hand now.
I might be bringing the mosquito which is in the fguk hangar
