FlightNight Jan. 18th - Sightseeing in Paris via Helicopter!
We'll meet at 8 pm London Time at ICAO: LFPB - Paris Le Bourget Airport. Please bring the 'chopper of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can maintain 100 KIAS to altitudes of roughly 750' for an hours duration. From POO (Point of Origin) we will depart to and overfly LFPO, LFPV, LFPK, and then land at our POO, LFPB, for our midpoint refresh and refuel.
After refresh and refuel we will visit various landmarks for a close up/hover view including the Eiffel Tower and Napoleon's Tomb. In general, the objective is to find and observe some really cool building and bridges that some folks have obviously spent oodles of time modeling and placing before we turn to and land at ICAO: LFPN - Toussus Le Noble Airport as our final destination.
Lots of really cool stuff to see but be prepared for low frame rates and be sure to gather the necessary scenery beforehand as you don't want to miss anything!
