FlightNight April 12 - Corsican 'Chopper Cruise!
We'll meet at 8 pm London time at ICAO: LFKF - Figari Sud-Corse Airport on the French Isle of Corsica. Please bring the chopper of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 5000' and 110KIAS for an hours duration. Climb rates of 900 FPM will also be needed. From our point of origin, we will fly directly to and overfly LFKS, LFKB, and land at LFKC - Calvi Sainte-Catherine Airport, as our midpoint refresh and refuel destination.
After refresh, we will depart directly to and overfly LFKJ, LFKO, and land at LFKF - Figari Sud-Corse Airport where we began as our final destination.
Fabulous topography on this island and much of the flight will have mountain and seascape views which should provide for some serious visual entertainment.
