Interesting Lancaster Simulator and the Dams Raid
Ever wondered what it was like to fly a Lancaster Bomber on a World War Two mission in the dead of night?
In this video, Al Murray and James Holland experience the famous Dambusters raid over the Möhne Dam in the world's first WWII Avro Lancaster flight simulator using genuine wartime Avro flight controls under a 1944 canopy -- housed in a barn in Dorset!
Set inside a meticulously recreated RAF Lancaster cockpit, this wholly immersive simulator is built with original WW2 controls, gauges, and kit—all to exact wartime specs. With Andy Sturgess, the genius who built this incredible replica, by his side, Al takes the controls and flies the full night mission, gaining a powerful insight into what the pilots of 617 Squadron faced in 1943.

The sim looks like XPlane going by the error message on the corner of the display.
