Haha.. The title of this reminded me of some stories:
When I was working on the Lightnings, I heard stories of aircraft movements between countries, where an over-wing tank would be steam-cleaned, connections to the wing blanked off, filled with say German beer and flown back to the UK, avoiding customs and duty! Also heard of refuelling probes being filled with wine and brought home, its surprising how many litres a refuelling probe can hold!
There would be customs checks, but if a pilot had fallen out with ground crew, customs would sometimes find packs of cigarettes placed in the cockpit first aid box!
