FlightNight - Saturday 2nd September 2023 - Malta Medics
Don your flightsuits and prepare to get covered in even more blood and gore than we usually manage on a flight night.
This week we are going to Malta!
There's only really one airport on the Island but we're going to need to get there on time to cover a shift of HEMS services after a busy summer Saturday.
Head to LMML and please make sure you've got the scenery installed:

You have some choices for your choppers, if you have a note from your parents that says you need to fly something else please link it here:
We shall be meeting at LMML at 2000 BST and comms will be on Teamspeak as always.
Speeds will be about 100kts, Weather will be real weather and time of day is going to be noon.
I'd recommend a bit of a fly round the island to familiarise yourself and load all the good OSM stuff in if you can. There's a few scenery issues I couldn't resolve but we'll have fun regardless.
See you there!

Wessex for me
Minor point:
Maltese Medic/objects/e010n30/e014n36/3186561.stg. line 2:
OBJECT_STATIC FGUK/RTW_Sprinter_515_BL.xml 14.30573540 36.03877056 130.2308 120.0 -0.2 42.0 -0.0
but the FGUK folder is in e014n35
Yeah I'd tried moving things around, I can't get any custom objects in e014n36 to work, shame as I'd done a lovely little scenario
Yes, it's time for the new ugly Wessex.
The ugly must live... : )
In memories at my beautiful beach time. The Beach was hot but we had a nice wind with waves in the ocean and we are hopped around the waves...what a Paradise on Earth. What, can go wrong with Caipirinha... :-p

Is this what we are looking for?
Ah, I forgot something the BK117 is a bus. It has a bus face, but I like busses how Airbus and Boeing and so on, all that stuff.
BK-117 for me.....scenery looks absolutely great.
VooDoo
I probably won't be able to make it, but it looks like you're gonna have a ton of fun especially because the aircraft of choice are helicopters, my favourite. Oh well, at least I'll watch the movie on YT :)
Cyber
Shit. I have to be out of town Saturday - my MIL is having an incident at the Care Center she resides at and we need to get down there and assist her with moving resetting her apartment. If I get lucky I might make it back to the second half but not likely.
Dammit. I need FlightNight but I gotta help when I can/where I can.
VooDoo
Not far off! it was supposed to be a bus on it's side but that'll do if you can make it work?
Cheers mate.
There is a bussmallwhite.ac in the folder if you want to swap it out
and would you like helipads with that, sir?
Thanks Warty,
I've updated the file now so it's all together for those that don't want to put it in themselves:

Saw/Flew with Sanni last Evening at LMML!
VooDoo
Let's hope we see Sanni tonight. We may need some rescuing!
Gonna do my best to make the second half and get at least some video.

A symbol for a very special Flightnight:
The Malta Bus Crash and everyone is cuddling around ;)
Have a good week!

It looks like the bus is being buried by the earth mover.
Btw: the problems with my AppImage were:
I have enabled the Add-on/Aircraft Hangar. When I disabled it, my FG worked well.
The Add-on/Aircarft Hangar is for Newbies
I'm not sure what you mean by this - have you added the path to the launcher downloaded aircraft (in ~/.fgfs/Aircraft/org.flightgear.fgaddon.stable_2020/Aircraft for the stable branch for instance) or do you have a full download of fgaddon?
Maybe she was experiencing the same issues Alex and I were with weirdness happening because of MP code issues in multiple aircraft,
VooDoo
I only clicked on the first link (official FlightGear hangar) that appears in "Add-ons". When I removed it, FG worked well.
Odd, the main hangar is the first thing I tested with the appimage
