Funny nuance of the Vulcan due to the length of the intakes, assume it's some sort of resonance. Bit like the "blue note" of the Hawker Hunter when fitted with guns, air passing over the gun ports at certain speeds makes a unique noise, they call it the blue note, based on blues music!
