FlightNight for May 24 - Chopper Andes Mountain Cruise over Chile and Argentina!
We'll meet at 9 pm London Time at ICAO: SCCM - Aeropuerto de Molco in Choshuenco, Chile. Please bring the chopper of your choice from the FGUK Hangars that can attain/maintain 130 KIAS to altitudes of 8K' for an hours duration. From our point of origin we will fly directly to and overfly SAZS, and land at SAVB: El Bolson Airport in El Bolsón, Argentina for our midpoint break, refresh, and refuel.
After refresh and refuel we will depart directly to out final destination waypoint of SCTN: Chaitén Airport in Chile. First half of the flight we need to keep our speed up to stay on schedule but the second half of the flight will be a leisurely 110 KIAS. Lots of cool stuff to see so I hope to see a bunch of ya'll!
