FlightNight - 4th of July - Break for freedom
Welcome to FlightNight on the 4th of July.
As it's some sort of minor bank holiday of sorts over in the colonies I thought we'd celebrate our friends from the United States of Northern America by flying over places they used to inspire their place names.
Starting at Bristol we'll be heading out to the following places:
Bristol - EGGD
Exeter - EGTE
Plymouth - EGHD
Gloucester - EGSG
Colerne - EGUO
HALF TIME
Cambridge - EGSC
Boston - EGBO
York - EGSK
New York - EGNC
For the flight I'd like to encourage people to use the Jaguar, mainly as it's a word our buddies over the Atlantic have problems pronouncing.
Apologies for the late posting of this flight, I was hoping that Terrasync would bounce back and give us a bit more scope for international travel.
Start will be 8pm UK time and all comms will be via teamspeak. See you there!

Hi Alex
Please con you check Plymouth airport code as EGPM returns Airport code EGPM belongs to Scatsta Airport (IATA: SCS) in Shetland, Scotland?
I found EGHD for Plymouth City Airport.
Tormarton - EGKT is a long way - Airport code EGKT belongs to RAF Kirknewton, a military airfield operated by the Ministry of Defence located in West Lothian, Scotland, about 10 miles (16 km) west of central Edinburgh
Oly, you are quite right, seems I was using a flight planner that had some muddled ICAOs.
I've updated the plan for the night. Thank you for noticing!
Plot of route:
There's a York in England, US and Canada which is now called Toronto. Guess who lives there?
It was Canada's birthday on July 1st, and this song came out then :)
